Privacy policy
How nationals.mox.games handles personal data, consent preferences, analytics and external content.
Controller and contact
The data controller for this website is МОКС ГЕЙМИНГ ООД, Bulgarian company, UIC 206408765. For privacy questions and rights requests, contact info@mox.games.
European Unity League organizes the event, Mox Games Sofia is co-organizer and host, and WebComa creates and technically maintains the landing page. The club address is used only as the event venue and is not presented as the controller company address.
Data handled by the website
- data sent by the browser when visiting the site, such as IP address, user agent, requested pages, date and time;
- server and security logs needed for operation, diagnostics, abuse prevention and incident investigation;
- messages and contact details when you email us;
- consent preferences for analytics and external content;
- Google Analytics 4 data only after consent;
- technical requests to the OpenFreeMap tile/style infrastructure for the venue map;
- data processed by external embed providers only after consent or an explicit content load.
The website currently does not collect event registration data and does not accept decklists. Registration, check-in and decklists are handled through Melee.gg.
Analytics, external platforms and embeds
GA4 loads only after analytics consent. The planned configuration uses a limited retention period of up to 14 months.
The season standings are synced server-side from Unity League’s public page and displayed from a local cache, so the visitor’s browser does not connect to Unity League. Future YouTube or Twitch livestream embeds load after external-content consent or after a clear action to load them. The venue map uses OpenFreeMap for style, tiles, fonts and sprites, while OpenStreetMap is the map-data source/attribution. The site does not embed Google Maps; the Google Maps button is an ordinary outbound link.
When a participant follows an external platform for registration, standings, video or maps, processing on that platform is governed by that provider’s own rules.
Purposes and legal bases
- Website operation and security
- legitimate interests in providing a stable website, preventing abuse, diagnosing issues and protecting infrastructure.
- Correspondence
- legitimate interests in responding to your request and, where applicable, pre-contractual steps or compliance with a legal obligation.
- Consent preferences
- legitimate interests and compliance obligations for recording and changing choices about optional technologies.
- Venue map
- legitimate interests in providing practical wayfinding information for the event venue through OpenFreeMap map infrastructure.
- Analytics and external content
- consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
- Legal claims and duties
- legitimate interests or legal obligations when evidence must be kept, competent authorities assisted, or rights defended or exercised.
Recipients and providers
Data may be accessed by authorized event team members, WebComa as technical provider, hosting, security, email, analytics and map tile infrastructure providers, and external embed providers when loading is allowed.
External providers may include OpenFreeMap for the map, Google for GA4 and future YouTube, and Twitch for future livestreaming. Unity League, Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps are ordinary outbound links unless you open them; the Unity League standings are displayed locally.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or other GDPR mechanisms.
Retention
- consent preferences: up to 12 months or until withdrawal/change of choice;
- GA4: planned maximum retention of up to 14 months;
- server and security logs: usually up to 30 days unless an incident, abuse case or legal duty requires longer retention;
- email correspondence: as needed to respond, organize the event, keep records or defend/exercise legal claims.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR conditions, you have rights to information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
You can exercise your rights by emailing info@mox.games. You may complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection.
